Filming for Top Dog
Flash and I have been accepted for the Top Dog TV show. This morning, we did some filming. It was of course mainly Flash, but there were a few shots of little Jesse too. I am really excited to find out what they are going to do with the material taken today.

1st Obedience Show for Jesse
As I drove for the very first time on my own in my car, and my car is now fitted out with the crates, I was able to take all three dogs (Dylan, Flash and Jesse) with me to the SATS Obedience Show yesterday, 24th June.
It was Jesse's very first obedience show. Of course, we weren't working yet (he would have been too young to even enter anyway), but he enjoyed walking about and meeting all the dogs. He wasn't worried at all and I had no problem getting his attention.
Unfortunately we had an unpleasant incident when Jesse got bitten on the nose by another dog. That dog walked past very close and as Jesse went to sniff (Jesse and I were stationery) the other dog went for him. Jesse screamed, but settled and I didn't see any injuries. The other person just walked off without appology or anything, but because I didn't see any injuries, I didn't pull her up on it. But a few minutes later, I saw that Jesse' had two or three scraches/marks on his nose which started going red and bleeding... So the dog caught him after all...
I walked Jesse around the show a couple of times to make sure he was not too affected by that bite, and he was fine after a couple of growl initially...
Well, I am looking forward to the next show when Jesse can come along again (and I will probably enter him to just train a bit in the ring and get him used to it). Now that I am confident to drive on my own and I therefore don't rely on anyone anymore, the sky is the limit and I can go to any show I want... LOL It's a good feeling.

Cocker Meeting
Jesse and I went to a Cocker Spaniel meeting today organised by a member of the Zim Cocker Spaniel forum.
There were three American Cocker Spaniels. It was lovely to see them as I have never seen any other than Pauline and Leigh's Khia and Bentley. All the others (probably about 12 or so) were English Cockers.
Jesse had a fantastic time, he played lots and enjoyed the company of so many dogs.
He was also great on the train and loved sitting on my lap watching the scenery through the window.
He is now totally knackered! What a good boy he was today.
Here's some pictures taken by various people (Lucy, Holly, Louise, Grace) attending at the meeting (unfortunately I forgot my own camera, so don't have my own pictures...).
Jesse in all his glory

And some pictures of Jesse and me... (and I noticed that we both have the same hair colour...LOL)

And some group shot...

College
From 3rd to 7th June, we were at college. I had Dylan, Flash and Jesse with me. Jesse did great, he enjoyed the stooge classes, loved walking around the college and wasn't phased by anything. He had no problem with the kennel either.
We had no problem in the B&B either, not a single house training accident and he loved running around the farm. He found some bones which he then tried to get to at every opportunity...
We also went on two long walks behind the farm which all the dogs loved. The lurcher chased a couple of bunnies/hares and Jesse just enjoyed running back and forth on the path!
